Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 5,600 current biomedical journals.

“Ichushi-Web” Database is a database of bibliographic information collected from Japanese periodicals in the field of medicine and related areas. Related fields, including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, veterinary medicine, psychology, biochemistry, and public health.

“CiNii Research”(Scholarly and Academic Information Navigator, pronounced like “sigh-knee”) is a database service which can be searched with academic information of articles, Books, Journals & Dissertations.

“Current Index to Japanese Nursing Literature” is a database compiled by the Japanese Nursing Association Library. It aggregates literature information on nursing practice, research, and education from journals, bulletins, and other publications issued in Japan and held in the library’s collection.

Around 1.9 million articles sourced from more than 900 Japanese medical journals are searchable in English, downloadable in PDF format, and readable in English, Chinese (TC/SC) and Korean.
